The Conservatory owns the building and the membership fees of the students and teachers partially cover the running costs.  The remaining costs and all extra activities are covered by donations. The Conservatory is a non-profit organization.
future plans

The Dual purpose Library and Recording Studio
The Conservatory wishes to create a dual purpose library and recording studio in a room adjacent to the concert hall.  During the last renovations, a room was created in the hope that funding would be raised in order to complete this part of the renovation program.  The basic tunnelling is in place to provide electrical cable access between the concert hall and the recording station.

The recording studio
Now that we are in the 21st Century, young musicians are required to supply a demo tape or disc in order to be considered for participation in international master classes and competitions. This can be a costly business, and the Conservatory would like to be in a position to offer this service to the students, teachers and musicians in the Haifa area.

The library
For 80 years, the Conservatory has been accumulating music donated by teachers, former pupils, local Israeli composers and well wishers.
Faced with an ever - increasing quantity of material, manuscripts, chamber and choral music, records, tapes and compact discs it has become necessary to develop a computerized system of cataloguing, display and retrieval.

To accomplish this, there is an urgent need to create a customized air - conditioned library facility with adequate sound systems and sound - proofing to enable this collection to be preserved and utilized to its best advantage.

Upgrading of the Concert hall
The Conservatory, enjoying a period of growth, recently upgraded its home, which was built in the 1950’s. These renovations were essential to the upkeep of the building and were carried out with the remaining funds from an inheritance left to the Conservatory by Patrona Greenberg in 1980. The total area of the building is approximately 500 square meters (5,400 sq. ft.) spread over three floors which house a small lecture hall, 11 teaching rooms, a library, two offices and a concert hall.

We wish to upgrade the facilities in the Concert hall to offer the best conditions for acoustics, vision and comfort possible and in so doing enhance the quality of the activities for performers and audiences alike.
The Concert hall is situated on the top floor of the building and seats 150.
